    plant sitting for Maggie

    Maggie left several plants at our house when she went to London. These houseplants probably belong in Southern California where the sun shines most of the year instead of Seattle’s 5-months-of-sun/year. Last year I barely kept them alive through winter. This year I was so excited to find this plant shooting up new shoots and even developing what looks like some type of flower. It seems to be happy with the new pot and the plant food I have been giving it. The emotional bond with these plants is getting stronger so it will be hard to give them back.

    After spending some time with these horses Dahlia and Monti were both trying to work both of us into buying them a horse as a pet. I must admit they were pretty easy to love but I’m not sure they would play ball like Dahlia wanted them to do.

    Friday morning was rough! At the Bank dance club previously mentioned the night before a women getting bottle service was feeding us free drinks all evening so I
    drank way more than I should have. Room service brought us up some
    much needed food and water so we could salvage as much of the day as
    possible.

    After Cirque de Soleil

    Cique de Soleil was quite an experience. The set for “O” was simply
    awesome. It is one of those shows where “the making of O” would be
    even more fascinating than the performance itself. After watching the
    show I simply wanted to go the gym and work on getting stronger but
    alas I ended up instead at a bar pre-drinking before dancing. It was
    great that Carl and Mary joined us for a couple drinks before we
    headed out.

    Goodbye old shoes

    Maggie finally replaced her old pair of comfy shoes. As her family we
    have had the need to participate in interventions for some of her
    clothing items. She was depressed for a full hour after we forced her
    to leave her 10 year old shoes behind. Goodbye shoes! You have served
    her well.
