Maggie left several plants at our house when she went to London. These houseplants probably belong in Southern California where the sun shines most of the year instead of Seattle’s 5-months-of-sun/year. Last year I barely kept them alive through winter. This year I was so excited to find this plant shooting up new shoots and even developing what looks like some type of flower. It seems to be happy with the new pot and the plant food I have been giving it. The emotional bond with these plants is getting stronger so it will be hard to give them back.
