    at Museo

We went to Museo an Art Studio in Issaquah for Milena’s birthday
party. The staff helped all the kids make birthday masks with clay
that you bake later. They had a good time but ours never made it to
the oven….I found pieces in my bed and on the couch later.

    Jesse and Cheyenne’s birthday

Earlier Saturday we went to a birthday party at the Issaquah pool. The kids had a lot of fun with those big floating mats. Monti would just crawl across the pool on the connected mats. I was dying of heat up in the balcony watching.

    Helping in class

I help in Monti’s class every Friday afternoon. I was hoping I would
get a chance to see the class in action but most of the time I do
clerical work for her teacher. I find it amazing that I can make these
simple tasks so stressful. I don’t want to make mistakes and I want to
do as fast as possible. I am constantly monitoring the situation to
find a way to make the tasks more efficient. Here I just needed to
divide 76 pieces of math worksheets into 4 stacks of 19. My big debate
here was should I count the last stack of 19 or should I just trust
that 19 would be left. I could defend both options almost equally.

    Kill A Watt – Joe’s latest gadget

Joe has been plugging everything into this to see the cost of
electricity over the course of a day, week, month or year to run the
item. So far the server is the most expensive item at $12 a month. I
cannot imagine what my dad would do with one of these. I bet he would
    save pennies every day.

    Joe at his infusion

He sets up shop for the day at Virginia Mason hospital. It takes him
about 6 hours to get his infusion every 8 weeks. Before the infusion they dope him up on
a benadryl/hydrocortisone cocktail that makes him sleepy yet antsy.
