Brecken begs to ride in the backpack while Tyson mows the lawn. He is
thrilled to be near the loud roar of the mower. While at my parents
earlier in the week Brecken lead me into the garage to point out the
lawn mower stored there. He would have been rather disappointed with my parent’s mower because it is electric and comparably quiet.

All the girls were tired out from the last few days. I will try to get
them well rested and ready for camping on Friday night. We have been
so busy.

My dad relaxes while he enjoys the symphony playing in Millennium
Park. He skipped all the American Girl stuff and met us for the
concert.

Monti created a new cap for herself which she wore the rest of the
evening

All tourists visiting Chicago come home with pictures of the big
silver bean called Cloud Gate. I have seen the sculpture so many times
but I never tire of watching people play with their reflections.

Michigan Avenue was lined with a variety of dress form torsos displaying designs by fashion students from several of the local design schools. All of the dresses shared the common theme of being eco-friendly.

The girls thought Joe’s mom would like this design because of the bodice lined with sea shells.

The mini dress made of keys was my favorite.
