Dahlia always cooperates when I need a photo subject even though she
was nervous about the bees buzzin around.

Swinging at Lesa’s
There is room for all 3 kids on the swing set at Lesa's house. If this
was an US weekly magazine I would be pointing out a "bump alert" on
Lesa's belly. She is due in January with her third and she is just
starting to show. She watched the girls for me while I went to see
"The Dark Knight" with the boys. -

Skunk population on the rise in Elmhurst
On a 15 minute walk with the dogs we saw 8 skunks all within blocks of my parent’s house. I found an article explaining the skunk population is on the rise in the Chicago suburbs. The skunk’s numbers are making a comeback after their numbers plummeted in the 1990’s due to a rabies outbreak. According to a skunk trapper in the area he has captured over 400 skunks in the last year which is more than 3 times as many skunks as he did 5 years ago. Besides their awful smell they are often carriers of rabies and distemper so we were trying to steer clear of these pretty little creatures.

An outdoor performance
Monti and Gwendolyn put on a play about being spies. The play was a little too artistic in nature for most of their audience with no recognizable story line.
Someone decides to spice the performance up by taking center stage. Brecken absolutely adored the applause.
