Seattle’s Office of Art commissioned local artist Dan Corson to create a rain drum court. During rainfall, the water collects and drips to sound the rain drums scattered around the courtyard. When it is dry, a computer activates nozzles that drip water in pre-programmed rhythms of various culture. The rhythms composed by the rain create a very soothing environment to relax and enjoy.
