Flying shoes

On Tuesdays we have about 50 minutes to eat dinner in between Monti's voice lessons and Dahlia's gymnastics. Joe met us down the hill at Denny's for dinner. After Dahlia was done eating she was antsy so she stood up outside our booth. I figured we were almost done and Denny's was pretty empty so I let her stay out there. I happened to snap this photo moments before she starting flicking her feet out of boredom. The flicking motion became stronger until one of her shoes came loose and soared through the restaurant landing on one of the only other occupied tables. Her shoe clanked on the plate and glass but some how avoided landing right in the middle of this lady's omelette. We were horrified and apologized right away. Dahlia started crying immediately because she really knew she had messed up this time.
